My vote for #1: Plymouth Rock
As my freshman year high school history teacher said 50 years ago about Plymouth Rock: world’s biggest ash tray.
See, I wasn’t that disappointed with Plymouth Rock. When my family went, my mom, who’d seen it before, lowered expectations. “It’s not a big boulder like you might imagine...” LOL
I saw that on a road trip from Virginia to New Hampshire when I was about 19. My reaction: “Really? That’s it?”
I guess I expected it to be bigger or something.
Plymouth rock is a joke. Its just a rock in Plymouth. Not the rock. But if you are in Plymouth spend a couple of days on the cape. That is interesting. But don’t do it on a long weekend. The New Yorkers are horrible.
Oh for sure. Dumbest tourist site. I was really disappointed in Plymouth Rock. A waste of time. Egypt is definitely not the worst place I’ve been. It’s interesting in a historical sense.
For me the worst place was The Great Wall of China.
They’ve renovated it to the point it doesn’t look old.
