Kamala Harris to Propose $25,000 Down Payment Support for First-Time Homeowners
Twitchy ^

Friday in North Carolina is going to be crazy. Kamala Harris, who doesn't list any policies on her website, is expected to announce her economic plan. President Joe Biden seems convinced that she's going to stick with Bidenomics, but she's already announced Soviet-style price controls for grocery stores trying to make a quick buck. That will lead to food shortages and bread lines. It's communism — it's doesn't work.

ABC News' Selina Wang has another hint as to what Harris will propose Friday: $25,000 in down payment support for first-time homeowners … with more generous support for first-generation homeowners.

This has no chance of this occurring if the Republicans control the House and/or Senate, and especially if Trump is President.

Expect a lot of “Free Money for Everybody!” vote-bribery scams from the Deminicrats in this election year. And expect the Enemedia to follow right along.

“It doesn’t solve the core issues.”

The core issue in this case is the high prices of homes.

I have never understood that. Why don’t builders build lower priced homes because there are buyers ready to buy? Smaller homes, smaller lots, maybe requiring longer commutes.

Is part of the answer because builders can build more expensive homes, and there will be buyers, and the builders will make more money on the more expensive homes?

> It doesn't solve the core issues.

Sure it does, if the issues you're trying to solve are redistributing wealth to buy votes in the short term, and destroy an individual's ability to own property in the long term.

But neither the Democrats, Republicans, or even Trump will fix the primary issue, which would require a 50 year moratorium on all immigration.

In order to deal with the almost unlimited number of national problems it’s necessary to first address the root cause of these problems: too much government. Government, at all levels, needs to shrink, a lot.

Back in the day we all were taught there was no such thing as a free lunch. How stupid we were to get a job or two and pay our own housing, tuition, phones and we never got free shoes with the president’s picture on them.

And where is she going to get. The money for that? Is she pledging her campaign money?

“too much government. Government, at all levels, needs to shrink, a lot.”

It takes more than a President to do that. Our Senators and Congressmen, who individual states vote for, are two thirds of the machinery.

I held off buying my first home because Lloyd Bentsen wanted to allow IRA contributions to be used tax-free for first-time home buyers.

Never happened.

“first-generation homeowners”

So if your family is chronically lazy through the generations, you win the Camel A. HairAss lotto.

Got it.

What could possibly go wrong?
