Allowing women to vote was the great mistake,
Prove me wrong.
I have always thought one should be a property owner and employed to be able to vote....prove that you have a stake in the game
Would that include women who choose bears over men?
I like that idea
I am more conservative than most men I meet
I moved from Maryland to Florida in 2021. I'd be fine with not voting until 2031, if it also keeps the hordes of liberals who flock to states like mine (Florida) from voting for 10 years, until they become more accustomed to the culture, way of life, etc.
LOL
watching The View should disqualify a person from being able to vote
Universal suffrage is more akin to democracy than to a representative republic.
The founders studied history, and deliberately did NOT enshrine a democracy in the Constitution.
history ping for later
this
WTFLDR;
Didn’t ask to be on your list, remove me.
I think we should only give the vote to male Olympian pole vaulters from France.
If it made sense for women to vote, why didn’t the Founders allow it?
Bottom line: They knew.
Which no doubt is the intent.
“The nature of woman is dependency”
If there’s truth in that, it would be that women have the babies — their babies — and they want the best for their babies, and they need help raising them, especially from the father.
There are PLENTY of MORONIC men voters, I argue with many of my former male classmates who are died in the wool Democrats. No talking sense to them. So women obviously are not the problem.
Anyone who is forced to pay taxes, import duties, fees that are government sponsored has the right to vote!
Therre must be no taxation without representation and the right to vote for such representation by all those who are taxed must be preserved.
Other wise tax all the wealthy and the land owners and forbid them by law to pass the cost of those taxes to others.
it’s the taxation without representation issue that is at the root of allowing all affected by such taxation to be able to vote. Even women had to pay taxes, duties, fees and import tariffs depending on what they bought or sold.
“You’re using proof by assertion. Prove yourself right“
There are two sides. One is good and one is evil. One side would be acceptable to our ancestors and one side would be summarily strung up by them, if they dare to raise their heads. One side now has absolute control of most governing and cultural institutions to the extent that they can take your kid to be chemically and sexually mutilated or put sexual deviants in to your kid’s kindergarten class. They have made EVERYTHING political to the extent that courts and judges make decisions based purely upon political considerations in plain view and damn who doesn’t like it. One side argued for the voting rights under discussion and supported and passed laws that tended to pool and draw those particular voters to them. We live in their world.
Same here; my dad was Christian, Republican and anti-communist. Even though I came of age in the 60s, I have always been a conservative voter.
You bring out the larger point: that fatherlessness is a critical problem. Neither girls nor boys can be raised "right" without a father, or in the case of abandonment, widowhood a consistent biological father figure such as an older brother or a grandfather (not mommy's boyfriend). Today's lack of stable families ensures the leftward collapse.
The Civil War happened before women could vote. Nowadays, the blame is shared.
AMEN!!!
