I never understood why he was pushed so hard by the media and entertainment, getting on shows like Johnny Carson, his incredible celebrity for making just another brand of cookie didn’t make sense to me.
Well, if some of the comments on this thread are any indication, he had something going on that people liked. 🤷
Because it was an awesome story. Also because he started making his cookies to lure clients to William Morris all the celebrities knew him. And the cookies, original cookies from his store, not the mass produced stuff, were really good.
