I do a lot of research. Plenty of certificates say old age.

My mom died at age 90. She wasn't sick...not on any meds...she was weak and we watched her deteriorate over a ten year period. No heart attack...no stroke....no cancer...they finally gave her a shot...and a few hours later, she was dead. That's called a death of old age.

I haven’t seen that on any modern death certificate. (Post 1980’ish)
