I wish he would do a song with Ray Parker Jr.

Guy’s a prick, prima donna. Jimmy Kimmel? Will be aggressively unfunny.

Huey Lewis and the band doing their thing back in 1989:

I have a hard time disliking Huey Lewis. He reminds me of a musical Mike Rowe — sort of an affable everyman kind of guy.
Plus he put out some solid pop music, with lots of nice horns parts which you never hear nowadays.

It would be funny if Huey sang a bunch of parodies, or just misheard lyrics.
“I Want a New Duck”
“‘Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy”
“Don’t Wanna Be Your Pizza Burning”
Etc.

Huey’s a good guy, very affable and loves his fans. I’m glad he’s found a way to make lemonade out of the lemon of his hearing loss. He’s a pretty accomplished golfer, as well.
If you want to put on a great party R&B album, “Plan B” that he and the News made in the early 2000s is a real gem.

Tightest band I ever seen. Spot on vocals and harmonies and just flawless musicianship. .

I like his music, but the premise of the show sounds dumb. Plus anything with Jim Kimmel is a non-starter- he’s just not funny or entertaining.
