The Democratic Party supports Maduro and wants to duplicate his fraud system in the US.

I wouldn’t bet on the above. From a Globalist perspective, an independent Venezuela (Marxist or not) represents a HUGE THREAT to their plans, as they control 18% of the world’s oil reserves (most in the world), and when combined with BRICS and BRICS wannabe’s (meaning countries now unfriendly to the Globalists), the total is 73%. Hard to save the planet from ‘Climate Change’ when you’re only left with 25% or so of the planet’s oil to shut down.

So it’s also hard to see how the Globalists would be willing to give up on Venezuela without a fight, even considering their ‘meeting of the minds’, ideologically. I suspect that’s much of why Maduro looks able to ride this out.
