Liberal Gaslighting Goes Global

The problem with many liberals is they can’t live in their own truth. They abandon ship as soon as it becomes inconvenient to maintain their current persona. The most obvious and telling recent examples come from the Democrat Presidential candidate-by-fiat, Kamala Harris. For the last three and a half years, she was ‘The Border Czar.’ Everyone knew it. Biden announced it with much ballyhoo, and she was referred to as ‘The Border Czar’ by the television, print, and electronic media repeatedly. As the Vice President, she ran interference for Joe Biden. (He didn’t create the huge border fiasco; she did.)

But once the Nancy Pelosi-Barack Obama-Chuckie Schumer coup d’etat had been executed and Kamala Harris had been installed as the de facto Democrat Presidential nominee, her Border Czar title became a major political liability. She was no longer running interference for Ol’ Joe. She was the new figurehead for the Democrat presidential campaign. Any stain of failure, especially one tied to the massive disaster of the southern United States border, was a huge threat to her Presidential aspirations. So, the Democrat political machine, together with their legacy media propaganda juggernaut, went full George Orwell on John Q. Public. CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the New Yorker, Axios, and a score of other legacy media began trumpeting: ‘Kamala Harris was never the Border Czar!’

Unfortunately for the gaslighters, and thanks to the internet, there are an abundance of records of them dubbing her with that title. Take Axios, for instance. In late July, they wrote:

"In the past few days, the Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the "border czar" title -- which she never actually had." Axios, July 24, 2024.

What is wrong with these people?

(That is a rhetorical question.)

I was up in the air about aspects of this, but I have finally solidified my stance on what the underlying strategy of the Left is: They lie deliberately to advance themselves or their cause. And they don’t care because there are no consequences to doing so.

They have done the calculus, and determined there is no downside to lying.

Their own voters are going to vote for them. Conservative voters won’t vote for them.

So they are going after the reprehensible and execrable “Undecided” Voters.

The have determined if they lie often, loudly, and convincingly, there are a a number of those morons they are convinced they will capture for their side.

They don’t care that there is this thing called the “Internet”. Those pathetic people are watching cat or dog videos, they aren’t watching videos of someone explaining issues. They aren’t concerned that some segment of those people will stumble across something that will bring them back to reality by realizing they are being lied to. There will be some, but the number is so small as to be insignificant.

They don’t care that there are Social Media companies out there where the truth might be disseminated to those coveted “Undecideds”, because, with few exceptions, those are fully in the pocket of the Left, and censorship, if brought to light and trumpeted to the public, will be explained away as an “error in the algorithm” which has “been corrected”, even though nothing of the sort has been done. And very few prospective Democrat voters will be lost in the process. Some will, but most won’t.

They don’t care that there are search engines like Google which actively shape their returns. In the post after this one, I am going to demonstrate my own effort to verify just how true this is, and it is indisputably true. In my experiment, I searched Google for Kamala Harris, examined the first page of the “News Feed” pane on the first page for Kamala Harris, listing every title, then viewed the next ten pages of returns. After that, I searched for Donald Trump and repeated that process. It is so skewed as to beggar belief that they would be so brazen, but they are. And they don’t care. Not even a bit.

And they most CERTAINLY don’t care about Media coverage. They know their party’s water is being carried by the media. They know they are being covered for. They have determined that while Fox News is considered “right wing”, it isn’t so conservative that it will dissuade those people from voting for their candidates. And they know all the other networks will present such a uniform and lopsided picture that is detrimental to a non-Democrat candidate, that the variances are so small that any of those precious “Undecideds” who open their eyes at the wrong time can be viewed as an anomaly.

So, in all of this, they feel perfectly confident in their selections.

They are so comfortable in their calculus that they can simply select, against the wishes of their voter base someone like Kamala Harris to lead the ticket, who was in charge of the border situation and deliberately destroyed it, who advocated getting rid of police while encouraging people to donate to organizations that bailed out violent repeat offenders, and publicizing, who got where she was by performing sex acts on an older, married man with political connections, and cannot string together a sentence without inappropriately laughing.

They are so comfortable in their disgusting process that they can simply select a candidate like Tim Walz, who lies openly about his military service, bugged out on his comrades when they went to war, lied about it, lies about his encounter with the GW Bush campaign in 2004, is responsible for $500 million dollars in damage and 1,500 properties damaged or destroyed, pushed legislation to put feminine hygiene product in grade school and high school boys bathrooms, pushed legislation to force children undergoing transgender conversions to be kept from their parents if they disapprove, is fully invested in Communist China, was arrested for DUI and lied about it, and one could go on, and on.

Things like this do absolutely make one wonder just what they intend to do during the actual election to cheat it, because in a straight up election, it would be impossible for them to win. Yet they chose candidates like these who will further accelerate the destruction of this country.

I am very concerned. And we all should be, because their selection of these reprehensible, unlikable, and unelectable people appears to be a giant middle finger to voting Americans, and indicates they have something up their sleeves.

The doom and groomers on this forum were probably relieved from the events of yesterday.

The flood gates have opened, and it’s exposed the complete charade and dishonesty of Kamala and company. It’s so cringeworthy that’s it hard to watch.

Her last three rallies were carbon copies. She said the exact same thing three times, NEVER going off script.

Then you have the video record of WAlz coming out, where he lied about his military history, and all of the left wing causes and statements he’s made.

There’s a photo of him with that Berkely Palestinian radical.

His executive orders, like changing the State flag, and his views on abortion etc etc are so far left, that it will be impossible for him to debate the positions.

I recall what they did to Eagleton, when he ran with Mondale? I think the same thing is going to happen with this idiot Walz, but who are they going to replace him with?

The black preachers and black you tubers are coming strongly against the two of them, but esp her. They see what a phony and empty suit she was.

They dump Biden, and now they realize they’re stuck with her.

Some here think that they’ll dump her too, once she crashes and burns in front of any scrutiny.

The media, for the most part are too stupid to ask any questions of them. And it will be hard for all of them to take back that lavish praise and fawning over them this week.

Trump if he stays cool, and safe from another bullet, may sweep all 50 states, esp if the elections are free from fraud.

JOE BIDEN:

I’ve asked her, the VP, today — because she’s the most qualified person to do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border.

And the reason why so many people were leaving, we learned, was that not only gang violence and trafficking and cartels, but natural disasters, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes. And so it’s not like someone sits around a hand-hewnen [sic] — hand-hewn table somewhere in Guatemala and says, “I’ve got a great idea: Let’s sell everything we have, give the money to a coyote, have him take our kids or us to the border of America, take us across, leave us in the desert. We don’t speak the language. Won’t that be fun?”

the Vice President has agreed — among the multiple other things that I have her leading — and I appreciate it — agreed to lead our diplomatic effort and work with those nations to accept re- — the returnees, and enhance migration enforcement at their borders — at their borders.

We’re already talking with Mexico about that; she’s already done that.

So it’s not her full responsibility and job, but she’s leading the effort because I think the best thing to do is to put someone who, when he or she speaks, they don’t have to wonder about is that where the President is. When she speaks, she speaks for me. Doesn’t have to check with me. She knows what she’s doing, and I hope we can move this along.

KAMALA HARRIS:

we also understand that we will enforce the law and that we also — because we can chew gum and walk at the same time — must address the root causes that — that cause people to make the trek, as the President has described, to come here.
