Furious Putin declares Ukrainian attack in border region is 'a major provocation' as thousands flee

Vladimir Putin has declared that Ukraine carried out a 'large-scale provocation' following a daring surprise assault on Russia's the border region of Kursk.

Russian authorities have already evacuated several thousand civilians and cancelled all mass gatherings due to fighting in the cross-border incursion, officials said.

Moscow also said it had sent reserves to help repel hundreds of Ukrainian fighters backed by tanks, in a ground incursion that is shaping up to be one the largest into Russian territory during the war.

-snip-

There were a flurry of warnings today that Ukraine's intention behind the unprecedented thrust into Russian territory may be to capture or encircle the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

Such an audacious plan could then use it as a bargaining chip to negotiate with Putin about ceding control of Zaporizhzhia NPP - held by Russia since the start of the war.

Well, it looks like Putin responds differently when his country is invaded than the Globalists who now run the West.

Well, hell, Vlad, shooting rockets into a country's capital is a bit of a "provocation", too.

“more good news for Ukraine”

It’s ‘good news’ in the sense that if the invasion is somewhat successful, the Ukraine War will quickly be over with. I’m pretty sick of it myself.

Russia has been a massive paper tiger for decades.

They can't even repel an incursion by soldiers and tanks on their own border.
Their annual defense budget (~$80bn) is about half of the global revenues of the Ford Motor Company. (And about 9% of our $916bn).
They have failed to take the closest neighboring capital in 3 YEARS of hard fighting.

Imagine them trying to oppose a single motivated Marine Division that wasn't held back by American media or politicians.

China is our only actual opponent, aside from the American media and Democrats (but I repeat myself).

“They can’t even repel an incursion by soldiers and tanks on their own border.”

They’ll be repelled, one way or another. Bank on it.

Ukrainian intelligence always schemes Putin will be forced put of power by destroying the bridge in Crimea or an atrack into Russia.

This has to have NATO approval. All Ukraine military equipment is contingent on use in 1991 Ukraine. If US gave go ahead, it was to cut EU energy (France, Germany, Belguim, others in current news buying more drom Russia than 2023 already this year).

This plays right into Russia’s hands. Already a dozen tanks and 70 other vehicles destroyed, 500 KIA Ukrainians. In just 24 hours Ukraine came out to play. In a rear staging area for this offensive, Russia hit a group of 400 AFU in one missile strike this morning, and those losses not tallied, but sounds like a battalion sized unit.

Ukraine may have launched this attack to cover for the Mandatory Sumy Area Evacuation, or to cut EU pipeline station, get close to use artillery on a nuke power plan, or see Puton removed by revolt.

Ukraine is suffering a series of possible unit surrenders, collasping secondary lines. Russia not breaking thru anywhere they already could, but rather setting conditions for a massive frontline collaspe of Ukraine.
