Z will lose 5000 troops in an attempt to gain another 200 yards. Russia continues to win the war of attrition.

go Ukraine!
I support you 100%, I just don’t want to send US troops or $$$ to you!
But I wish you well with stopping Putin!

I can understand the concerns of many who object to American dollars being spent in this war (although the argument could be made that it is money well spent to deplete Russian armed forces). I can understand the argument that we should not be involved in a war on the opposite side of the planet (although, once again, using proxies to fight over there is better than having to support allies closer to us—or us).
What I have a difficult time understanding is why many actually are rooting for Russia to prevail. They are obviously the aggressors. They are obviously a totalitarian state with greater world ambitions. Elements within Russia have made threats toward NATO allies. So, why root for Russia?
Some of the posters doing this have Russian names. That explains some of it. But why the others?

It is rather embarrassing for the Russians to have Ukrainian troops almost 60Km inside the border.

‘Hundreds of Zelensky’s soldiers, plus tanks and armoured vehicles smash into Russia’
Every time Ukraine pulls one of these little stunts they pay a heavy price afterwards.

Better start practicing on your Panzerfausts, Volkssturmers. Putin is going to take Kiev. History repeating itself in little different area of a Nazi regiem.

How many more days before Ukraine surrenders? That is the only relevant question.
