CORRECT! When MAN was introduced he became an INDEPENDENT VARIABLE.
If you understand "variables" you'll probably know that their introduction into a situation is NOT always favorable and usually results in many ADJUSTMENTS.
In my opinion.. "variables" create many LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, many of which can be PAINFUL.
Earth is supposedly 4.5 BILLION years old.. man has populated the EARTH, at best, 6 MILLION years. In case you didn't know, a BILLION equals a 1000 MILLIONS,
My point: the EARTH was, is, and ALWAYS will be a SELF-SUSTAINING system.. even long BEFORE, and long AFTER man is gone.
MAN being part of the system simply ADDED to it's SELF-SUSTAINING problems as an "independent variable".. it didn't minimize the problems. Obviously, you didn't watch the George Carlin stand-up link on "Saving the Planet" that I posted. It's on Youtube.
