Just south of Tampa they got over 14” of rain, plus storm surge.
Just talked to daughter in High Springs, FL (near Gainesville). No power, but they have good generator. She said it’s just a breezy, rainy dal...lol

The problem with this one is its a slow or no movement storm.
While 80 mph winds are plenty, this is going to be more about flooding than anything else.
As if that’s not enough, our other daughter’s Godparents, retired, are moving back to Northern Illinois and selling their house in the Villages. They already bought a house here and went back to put their place on the market. There they sit presently.
SO, I have the Fox Weather Channel on and I’m keeping tabs on their situations. Hopefully the worst parts of the storm will pass North of them all.
They’ll find some way to blame this on DeSantis.
