Sounds devastating, if true.
I believe improvements in internal combustion engine technology are the key technology which made the mechanized warfare of WW-2 through Ukrainian war possible.
Some new technology is needed to answer the stalemating effects of drones in order for humans to kill each other faster and in greater number.
Russian deployed for the first time in over two years, a heavy division of tanks and mech infantry. Russia is now conducting combat air patrols over the Black Sea; the fact Russia is now confronting US aircraft, drones and NATO aircraft to close NATO recon there. Ukraine is on their back heels all across the front lines. Ukraine makes a lot of news but these are pinpricks in the grand scheme.
A week ago Ukraine was cheering the 79th Brigade fight against a large Russia assault. Today the 79th is reduced to 50% combat effectiveness because Russia locked onto them. The 79th may escape with 20% of their forces as they are crushed and defeated and in retreat.
Russia has now shown Ukraine that once an assault begins they are going to destroy the defending units. This new phase of pushing out Ukrainian units who never retreat is now starting to have a profound effect on Ukrainian soldiers who are both undermanned, outgunned and poorly supplied.
Meanwhile the US attempt to over Maduro in VN has failed.
