Simple rule for Olympic fairness. if a biological XY chromosome contestant identifies as a woman, he/she can fight in the men’s boxing division only. A biological XX chromosome contestant can choose to fight in the men’s or woman’s division regardless of how they identify

Some articles say Imane was tested for testosterone levels. Others say tested for chromosomes.
So, then, why was there no question about Imane’s sex until 2023?
Imane competed in the 2020 Olympics, too, and was beaten by a female boxer from Ireland.
In the 2022 IBA Championships, Imane was beaten by another woman.
In the 2023 IBA Championships, Imane was only tested after beating an undefeated Russian woman.
