ransomnote: I copied about 80% of the Justice.gov FOIA Library page (below). About 20% or less of the page is formatted in a way that I can't copy. Anything on the webpage which uses formatted graphics to look like a tab, menu or box did not copy.

FOIA Library

OIP processes FOIA requests for records of the Office of the Attorney General, Office of the Deputy Attorney General, Office of the Associate Attorney General, Office of Legal Policy, Office of Legislative Affairs, Office Public Affairs, and Office of Information Policy.

OIP posts records from these Offices in this FOIA Library, making them available to you without the need to make a FOIA request. For older records, please visit our Archive page.

On this page:

OIP FOIA Logs

To find information about FOIA requests that have already been processed by OIP, you can review and/or download OIP’s FOIA Logs. The FOIA Log includes the request subject, tracking number, and disposition details for requests processed each month for the Offices listed above, and will tell you if records of interest to you have already been processed. In some cases, the FOIA Log will indicate that the request or records were sent to another office for processing (in which case you can go to that office directly for more details), if no records were located on the requested subject, or if other information and assistance was provided in response to the request (such as, information on how and where to make a FOIA request, suggestions for state/local/judicial entities that might have records of interest, websites or other helpful resources, or information on how to use resources available on Justice.gov). Please note that first-party requests submitted by or on behalf of individuals asking for their own records are not included in the FOIA Log.

I found this FOIA webpage interesting. For example, one of the sub links on the page leads to a pdf of Jan 2024 FOIA Log which records responses to FOAI requests for the month. I cherry picked some entries I thought were mildly interesting.  I do wonder what 'request withdrawn' really entails. Giving up after being ignored? Hints that a person should withdraw for their own interests? Yes, I'm a cynic.

Here are some selected examples from the Jan 2024 closed FOIA request link:
