So how did the protests - starting in Southport and spreading to London, Hartlepool, Manchester and Aldershot - begin?
Merseyside Police have publicly identified the English Defence League (EDL) as a key factor.
While there are people who describe themselves as EDL supporters, the organisation ceased to exist in any formal sense after its founder, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - who uses the alias Tommy Robinson - focused on spreading his message on social media platforms, where he has a sizeable following.
But its core ideas - in particular an opposition to illegal immigration, mixed with indiscriminate and racist claims about Muslims - are very much alive, and loudly and widely spread among sympathisers online.
Thrown into this mix are tropes from conspiracy theories that “elites” are somehow covering up the truth - including the abuse of British children.
An influencer on X associated with Yaxley-Lennon, who posts under the name of “Lord Simon”, was among the first to publicly call for nationwide protests. His account promoted false claims that the alleged Southport attacker had been an asylum seeker, recently arrived in the UK by boat. His video has been viewed over a million times.
“We have to hit the streets. We have to make a huge impact all around the country. Every city needs to go up everywhere,” he said.

The videos I’ve seen on X regarding the British situation are really strange. When the police confront the invaders, they are total wimps and will turn and run. When they confront actual British people they turn in to total Gazpacho and will beat the living crap out of them and arrest them for nothing. I swear it looks like two different groups of police.

The killer was not foreign born his parents were. That does not change how unchecked illegal (or not) immigration has harmed Britain.

Well firstly, this is the fault of your sh*tty "authorities" in Britain who refused to identify him quickly, and he *LOOKS* like one of those recently arrived "asylum seekers" who claims to be 17.
Had your police not tried to cover up who he was, then nobody would have mistaken him for one of the other hordes of problem causers in England.
Secondly, it *DOES NOT MATTER*, he is still the offspring of one of those sh*tty people your sh*tty government allowed to come into your country and ruin it.
And now he has murdered three innocent young girls, and he needs to be burned alive.

I have been thinking for some time that the tactics the Irish were using during "the Troubles" should be re-employed against British officials allowing these third world troublemakers into their country.

The people whom the protestors need to target are everyone associated with allowing the third world garbage into their nation. Those people need to be running for their lives.
We have a similar phenomena going on in this country where Antifa and BLM can burn down buildings, assault people, and engage in actual real riots, and nothing happens to them, while people in the opposite political party can go to prison for merely walking through a building.
Simple—Muslims will fight—Too the Death—for their beliefs. Brits will not—they will just take it and be all wimpy in the face of a uniform. Yell maybe, toss a few bottles, but give up like good little sheep. The English do not deserve a nation. These are not the Brits that faced Hitler’s legions.
