Today is the day I am officially done with Clay Travis. He sounded like the woman hit by the tranny in the Olympics. I miss Rush very much when these pretenders sound like surrender monkey Frenchmen.
No Agenda with Adam Curry? I had to check out the page. Adam Curry from MTV. I remember watching him on Headbangers Ball.
Dan Bongino and Andrew Wilkow both have great talk shows in the same time slot as Clay and Buck. Bongino is on the WMAL App, and Wilkow is on Sirius/XM Patriot (Channel 125). You don’t have to settle for less.
The point is, when we're watching sports, it is supposed to be a place where we can "escape". But the Left has ruined that. Now everything is political. I can't even support the men's national team in basketball because Steve Kerr and Steph Curry just endorsed Kamala Harris while wearing the uniform of the country they're representing.
He teased it by saying that Trump felt so strongly about that woman boxer that he wanted to call in right away and talk about it. Then, when Trump did call in, the first thing that Travis brought up was that he was the last interview before the shooting. He asked Trump if his hair was okay.
After wasting a few minutes on back-slapping, Travis segued into the Olympics by brown-nosing Trump by talking up his granddaughter and golf, asking how Trump would feel if his granddaughter had to compete with a male golfer.
After that, Trump finally got to talk about the boxer but it didn't last long. Travis asked Trump about the Russian hostage exchange and Biden asking why Trump didn't do it sooner? Trump said they weren't taken hostage during his administration and that he got other hostages freed without paying any money.
Travis concluded by asking Trump if he'd pledge to overturn all of Biden's Title IX changes, and Trump said he'd do it, and more, on Day One. As he was wrapping up he told Trump that today was the anniversary of the first broadcast of Rush Limbaugh's show, and Trump said he knew Limbaugh for a long time, was a great friend, and is truly missed.

Here’s some alternatives https://www.talkstreamlive.com/
Golden is an acquired fast. He might be better in a few years.
Seriously, I couldn’t listen to Mark Levin in his first few years until he modulated his voice and temper. (Yea, his temper used to be worse than it is toady.)
Kelly is good, and I can listen from 6 to 11 for his 3 hour show.
They air so many ads that their program becomes unbearable. Every time they break for ads, which is all to frequent, they cleverly transition back into more ads.
Yes. It is a pretty interesting podcast. He had one of the very first podcasts way back in the early 2000’s. Some people call him “the Podfather”.
He has been on Rogan a few time (that’s one I left out of my list).
They deconstruct media narratives. They are big into finding CIA, intelligence ties to current events/media coverage. They were great during Covid.
He is also a brand new Christian.
Every once in a while he will tell stories from back in the MTV days.
No Klay Travis can’t shine Rush’s shoes, he’s a blabber mouth with little substance . Buck Sexton is a bit of improvement, but not much. There will always be only one Rush, irreplaceable.
Two of my favorites. I also like Kevin Jackson and Officer Tatum.
I'm not sure I fully agree with his take on the NABJ presser, but the fact that some people here can't handle even the slightest constructive criticism of Trump is more a reflection on them than it is on Clay.
I call them “Bray and Cluck”, Not “Clay and Buck”.
Rush started as a disc jockey. He was good in both regards- a radio entertainer, and a political commentator. It is hard for people to be both, but he did it, the hard way- decades of working in radio. He was the giant.
Try the first hour of TRP on Friday nights.
Seventy posts and no one mentioned Sean Hannity. Did I miss a post? I guess this means no one is eager for “All Hannity Radio, 24/7/365”? /s
I go back and forth between between Clay and Buck and Dan Bongino. Wish they weren’t on at the same time. I don’t have a problem with Clay. Kind of relaxing before I turn on Mark Levin later in the afternoon😄
Who in the hell are you talking about in that comment?
In your future posts, have the courage and intelligence to use their actual names and not your silly, and definitely not clever, pet names like a 2nd grader on the playground.
“EIB should have gone to Mark Steyn”
I think he wouldn’t take the job. Three hours a day, 5 days per week, plus prep, must be a grueling job.
