Reagan’s sole focus was reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government. And did at least as far as he could given the House and Senate he was stuck with.
And he picked a moderate VP who could help unite the party and get him over the finish line. And it worked.
Elections are about winning. The intellectually pure almost never win. But some here would rather lose.
Wrong. Elections are About electing officials that will do what you tell them and fight for you. I don’t give a crap about self-serving GOP Republicans who don’t do anything when they’re in office. To hell with them.

What will be the factor that causes you to choose for either candidate?
