CNN busted Trump running mate pick Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) over unearthed recordings in which he refers to childless people as “sociopaths” and “psychotic” amid outrage over similar comments.
Vance has faced outrage this week over a 2021 interview that went viral, in which Vance derided “childless cat ladies” who “don’t really have a direct stake in” the country.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance claimed critics were “aggressively lying” about what he said and that his remarks were “radically taken this out of context.”
But on Tuesday’s edition of CNN News Central, anchor John Berman ran down a fresh set of “context” unearthed by KFile’s Andrew Kaczynski:

Not just childless cat ladies. Turns out there are many more ways Trump’s running mate has described people without children. The word sociopath used a lot.
JOHN BERMAN: Brand new this morning. More than childless cat ladies. Way more new reporting from CNN’s KFile this morning on Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance.
The controversial comments he made questioning the judgment of people without children– they were not a one off. In May of 2019, he told the crowd, quote, “Babies are good because we’re not sociopaths.”
JD VANCE: I’ve seen people who become more attached to their communities, to their families, to their country, because they have children.
So I would say that we should care about declining fertility, not just because it’s bad for our economy, but because we think babies are good– and we think babies are good because we’re not sociopaths.
JOHN BERMAN: Then, in November of 2020, during a podcast appearance, he said this.
JD VANCE: There is just these basic cadences of life that I think are really powerful and really, really valuable when you have kids in your life.
And the fact that so many people, especially in America’s leadership class, just don’t have that in their lives.
You know, I worry that it makes people more sociopathic and ultimately our whole country a little bit less, less mentally stable.
And of course, you talk about going on Twitter. Final point I’ll make is you go on Twitter, and almost always, the people who are most deranged and most psychotic are people who don’t have kids at all.
JOHN BERMAN: In August of 2021, in a fundraising email, CNN found he appealed to donors by mentioning the, quote, “radical, childless leaders in this country.”.
And then he tweeted in 2021, quote, “Cat ladies must be stopped.”
Thanks for your concern.
George Washington was childless. It was a pretty silly comment. There are sociopaths with children and without as there are good decent people both with and without children. One doesn’t exclude the other.
Still, I won’t hold Vance to every comment he ever made and I’d hate anyone to hold me to every comment I ever made.
Oh Bullshat. This is Mediaite and Vance did not call them sociopaths, which they are.

What the hell is wrong with people? Harris momentum is all made up by the media and it is all astroturf.
The politics of personal destruction is all they have. He is right about not giving back.
I believe who Vance is calling out are those who choose not to have children because they place no value on children or future generations whatsoever, usually because of their own greed or personal ambitions. These are the people who put their own lifestyle and career and everything else above raising children, who believe the world is already overpopulated, and who hate the notion of anybody else having children. And we all know what side of the aisle that particular subset of people reside.
Childless cat ladies love their fur babies.
Decent cat food costs money.
Childless cat ladies who love their fur babies will vote for Trump because a better economy means less expensive high quality cat food for their darling obligate carnivores.
Gaslight them back and deny he ever said any of this. Deny it to their faces. If they have video say it is fake.

Remember one specific fact. It does not matter WHO was picked, the media would be going after them in the exact same fashion no matter who it was. That is a FACT that we’ve seen every single election.
Christ, the knotted panties on FR over JD Vance has been quite disappointing, but also quite revealing.
Childless and childfree are two different things.
The fact that the enemedia is conflating the two says that the enemedia is trying to gin up yet another game of lets-you-and-him-fight.
Refuse to play.
Vote to restore the republic.

i see nothing wrong with Vance’s opinion... argue against it with your own... he’s entitled to it.
don’t be sociopathetic about it.
1) The Republican ticket with a guy that poked fun of childless people in the past, or
2) The Dim ticket that vehemently pushes for killing babies when they're at their weakest.
It’s all about the blasted women vote. Saying anything about childless women is radio active. This is blood in the water. They are going to keep hammering on this. The fact that what Vance said is true does not even matter.
I’m surprised the comments he’s made that people with children should get more votes than childless people haven’t gotten more attention in this news cycle. That particular aspect hasn’t really broken through to the mainstream yet, and if it does is going to slot right into the left’s “Republicans are anti-democratic” rhetoric.

some people will believe every lie or twisted fact told them. Others have the brain ability to decipher untruth from truth and some will ignore truth of matters even when told it dozens of times.
Rubio wasn’t a good pick for many years, and still.

They hate him in the same way they hated Trump since the beginning of his first run. JD is being picked on because the left has pretty well run out of producing any new dirt on Trump. They have thrown everything at him including a bullet.
JD is new and what they throw at him is the usual RAT kind of smears and hate.
If we stand firm and quit letting them get to us, we win. This hate they lob is not to make anyone on their side turn against the Trump ticket. They do it to make us turn against and weaken our ticket.
It’s that childless people have no legacy so no care of what happens in America’s future.
