You don’t fire a gun up in the air. You don’t know where the bullet will land. Besides the Trump rally attendees, the area is surrounded by residential and commercial buildings. The cops knew he was on the roof for several minutes before the shooting. The question is why wasn’t Trump removed from the stage then, or better yet why was he allowed to start his speech.

Excellent footage.... thanks very much for posting that. Like everyone here on FR, we’ve all seen lots of footage but that was one of the best. The conclusions on which sniper team took the shot that hit Crooks certainly is in line with a bunch of discussion many of us here on FR were having the night it happened... even a google map aerial view could show there was a tree in the way for one of the teams.
The one issue I’m wondering about is what looked like a bullet exit wound behind Crooks ear.... based on the lines of sight that are clearly shown in the drone footage, that certainly would indicate that there has to be a bullet that entered the wall in the building. It sounded like the fellow who took the drone footage searched for bullet marks but didn’t find it. Similarly, pictures of the assassin on the roof show a wound on his right leg which gives one pause for thought on the location of the person who shot him.... as well as where that bullet ended up.
With this SS there could have been 5 shooters. And after the shooting they could have all hopped on their bikes with backpacks and riffles
