Anyone know a dosage amount for ivermectin?
Read the the directions on the squirter. The ENTIRE dispenser should be good enough for a 1200 pound horse. A small dab on a spoon, which is then filled with yogurt, goes down just fine. Mine is apple flavored. Yum. Just took another dosage. Can never be too careful.
I worked it out during the Year of COVID Fear Porn. Didn’t keep the numbers. But since I was thinking of the doses used with COVID in mind, it worked out to this:
If I used the dosage weight based on horses, it was the LOWER of the two standard doses being used with COVID. Double was the higher dose.
In horse paste, the tube is marked by weight - so those of us with a 700 pound pony (or a 900 pound Arabian) won’t give the entire tube. I’m 160, so I rounded down to 150 and used that.
IIRC, studies indicated a human could take an entire tube - meant for a 1,250 pound horse - without risk of much more than a tummy ache.
A friend has a sheep ranch. He gives it in liquid form to his sheep. It can be absorbed thru the skin. He tries to be careful but with 2,000 squirming sheep some of it spills on him. He says he can TASTE it by the time he finishes. And he’s never had any ill effect from it.
Just looked. One study used 600 μg/kg daily for 6 days. Another used 12 mg once daily for 5 days.

Ivermectin 1.87% paste comes in a tube type applicator designed to administer proper dosage according to weight for a horse up to 1,250 lb.
the plunger on the tube is graduated in 50 lb interval notches with a white knurled ring that can be set to any weight close to your body weight.
eg: if you weight 140 lbs, set the white knurled ring at 150 lbs & push the plunger down to squeeze the (apple flavored) paste out into a spoon.
eg: if you weigh 260, just set to 250 lbs
some people stir it into yogurt or top the spoon off with apple sauce.

You can easily purchase Ivermectin in pill form on the internet as well as HCQ. There is no reason to purchase the horse paste at Tractor Supply. The pills are dosed for humans.
The Zelenko (prophylactic) protocol for covid is 0.2 mg per kg of bodyweight administered weekly. If you're not into the communist weight measures, half of that (0.1 mg) per pound gives you that and just a skosh more. When beginning the protocol, take your dose on day 1 and again on day 3 (to front-load) and begin the once-weekly doses on day 8.
If you're trusting IVM over the clot shot, you should also be taking a daily multivitamin with zinc, vitamins C and D3.
If you're taking IVM prophylactically and become symptomatic for covid (or are diagnosed), add Hydroxychloroquine at 1 mg per lb of bodyweight, to be taken twice a day for 5-7 days, or until symptom-free, whichever is longer.
