Pull this kind of stunt in Texas, and you’ve decided that the property of others is worth risking your life to steal.
The thing is, when robbers take your money or your property, they take the time you worked for that property or your forebears did.
A hundred dollars you might give up. A year’s worth of toil? Your life savings?
If a house is burgled, the people who live there may never feel safe there again.
