Sounded like “I’m a Christian” to me.
If you turn on the captions, it even reads “I’m a Christian”.
I listened to the clip...I think he said "I'm a Christian" but just said it a little slurry. That being said the opening sentence in the article may accurately reflect modern Christianity. But it doesn't reflect biblical Christianity. Biblical Christians enter into a new covenant relationship with God after repentence and baptism at which point God promises them the holy spirit.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Although I am not a catholic my understanding of the Lutheran catechism is sola scripture and it is only by faith that we are saved through grace. No man can fulfill the law to be saved. This is why the work of salvation is the work of God the Son in Jesus Christ.
However, the New Testament also professes that faith without works is dead. We are not judged on words but action reveals the heart which is why it is written they will know the disciples of Christ by their love. Once we are saved by grace through faith, it is only natural that we are transformed to walking in the light of the truth and wanting to do good works. Works, as it were, are the proceeds of salvation, not the prerequisite.
I heard a lovely statement this week that God does not select qualified people to advance the Kingdom. Rather he selects unqualified sinners (“all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory or God.”). God the qualifies the imperfect and unqualified through the work of the Spirit which is sanctification. This example being debated here only reveals the unity in trinity and the trinity in unity. One God, three persons. Each with His own work. God the father created Donal Trump. God the Son saved him and the spirit is sanctifying him in front of our eyes.

I have little doubt Trump is a Christian. He is friends with many evangelicals like Paula White( which I myself don’t agree with fully) Trump does not claim to be perfect but he has named the name of Jesus as his savior unlike the vast majority of demonrats!
He did NOT say, “I’m no Christian”! He said “I’m a Christian.” I just watched the video. You FReepers who hate him -— did you even listen to the video? You’re responsible for every word that proceeds from your mouth (or is written by you). You need to repent and stop lying!
Sounded to me like he slurred his words. So it came out wrong. He did not say he wasn’t a Christian. That I can tell.
He said, “I am a Christian.”
Yep, sounds to me he said,”I’m a Christian”.
Do you want to rephrase your post to me?

If you actually watch the clip, it’s pretty apparent he said that he IS a Christian.

The media of course zeroed in on the word fixed when clearly he was talking about REPAIRING a corrupt and broken system. He was also clearly saying that to do that be needs the help of people who have been resistant to voting to commit to it once to get this done because he canâÂÂt do it without getting elected. As far as whether he said heâÂÂs a Christian or not a Christian, think about it in context with the rest of the sentence. Contextually it would make no sense to say heâÂÂs not. He stammered over a word and here comes the media to pounce on him. How many hours will he speak this weekend alone? His stamina is amazing, but heâÂÂs not perfect. At his worst he speaks much better than Biden OR Harris speak at their best.
Nicene creed gives short shrift to the Lord’s ministry on earth and his message. No mention of what he did between the Virgin birth and Crucifixion.
