Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Friday that Dmitry Bulgakov, a former deputy defense minister, had been arrested and charged with corruption, the Interfax news agency reported.
-snip-
He served as deputy defense minister until he was replaced in 2022 and is the recipient of several top military and civilian awards, including the Hero of Russia award, the country’s highest honour.
-snip-
Bulgakov, who was in charge of military logistics until he was dismissed in September 2022, is the latest in a string of high-profile defense ministry figures to have been charged with corruption.

We don’t arrest our criminals in DC.
The pigs just keep feeding at the trough.

Wow, Russia actually does something about corruption in government. Maybe we could learn something from them. Because our government is so corrupt they would even try to pull off an assassination of the ruling party’s political opponents.

Russian soldiers are dying because their army is so corrupt they don’t have safe food and water at the front lines.

I don't care about Russia's financial problems because they aren't grifting American taxpayer dollars. Glad they arrested whomever took whatever but in general, so what? What really bothers me is to watch Ukrainian officials passing around our 'foreign aid' dollars to each other and offshore accounts like it's candy.
The MSM generally helps hide the theft of our taxpayer funds in the Ukraine but sometimes they let some information slip through. Here's another $40 mllion.
Ukraine arrests senior Defense Ministry official accused of embezzling $40 million

And you believe that? As the former KGB head once said show me the man and I will show you the crime.
Your thoughts on our own govt are true, but raising Russia up to some level they don’t have is curious.
They JUST discovered the corruption, or the just decided now to use it
Wonder when Putin will be next is this “new” era of anti corruption, he sure has done well for a public servant😎

LOL Sure they are. Both sides agree on this! Bulgakov, who was arrested, was in charge of Russian rations. Why do you think he was arrested? Russian soldiers have been eating rotten food and drinking water out of drainage ditches.

Biden is much more dangerous to Americans than Putin. And in 1941, you'd have said FDR is more dangerous than Tojo, Mussolini or Hitler.
