speeding in the pits, actually I can’t even remember if speeding in the pits is even a thing in F1 or a Nascar deal.

In F1 the cars are equipped with a Pit Speed Limiter that is somewhere in that Fuster-Cluck of Buttons, Dials and Display Screens on the Steering Wheel and it's programmed into the ECM for each Track. All the Drivers have to do is press the correct button on the Steering Wheel while entering/leaving the Pit Lane.

While We're on the subject of the Button Board (My newly created name for the F1 Steering Wheel) does the Ferrari Team have a Button that will dispense a snack ? Maybe a Gelato or a little bit of Antipasto Salad or Stuffed Sweet Cherry Peppers with Creamed Cheese.

Mercedes could have a Veal Schnitzel with Spaetzle and a splash of Heineken® 0.0 to wash it down with.

HAAS would be a great Texas Smoked Brisket, Coleslaw, Tater Salad and Sweet Iced Tea.

Williams would have to be Fish & Chips and room temperature Beer.

Now I'll get back on track here. NUTSCAR has the Team and Drivers take a Parade Lap to get a Tachometer reading in whatever gear the Team wants to use. NUTSCAR uses 100 or so cameras sighted on Pit Road and calculates with the Time/Distance method using the cameras and the Transponder in each Car.
