We've got bears here all over the place. They tear up peoples fences and throw garbage all over the place. The parks have to use 'bear-proof' garbage cans and businesses 'bear-proof' dumpsters. I've seen black bears while standing in my employer's parking lot. We even have 'BEAR CROSSING' signs like other places have deer crossing signs.
