On YouTube, there is a four-minute video that is nothing but Vice President Kamala Harris repeating this empty phrase: “What can be, unburdened by what has been.”
But no matter how many times she utters this idiotic mantra, Harris will, in fact, be heavily burdened by the disaster that has been the Biden administration. Burdened by her own dismal record as vice president. And burdened by the fact that she is so uniquely unqualified to be leader of the free world.

To say Harris is an empty pantsuit is an insult to empty pantsuits.
As we put it in an editorial a year ago:
Biden’s reelection campaign recently described Harris as a ‘powerful and effective messenger.’ Sure. Like when she says ‘As the name suggests, community banks are in the community.’ Or, when she says that ‘present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment, and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment.’ Or … well, as Harris might put it, there are endless examples of her vapidity that stretch on without limit because there’s no end to them.
As we put it in an editorial we posted last week and updated over the weekend:
It might seem impossible, but she would be an even worse president than he was.
No matter how much Harris tries to distance herself from Joe Biden, she will carry the burden of answering for his failures. Among them:
The border crisis. One of the few jobs Biden gave her to do was to stem the flow of illegal immigrants. She blathered on about “root causes,” after which 10 million or so illegals crossed the border and her “leadership role” was quietly memory-holed.
The economy. Harris will have to defend Biden’s economic record – inflation, falling real wages, widespread dissatisfaction.
Biden’s mental decline. She will have to explain what she knew and when about Biden’s obvious mental decline, what she did to cover it up, and whether she thinks he’s fit to finish out his term.
Foreign policy. There are wars raging in the Middle East and in Ukraine. Does Harris have any idea what is going on in the world? In our editorial, we said “Imagine her going up against Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping. As long as they could hold their laughter, they would be able to easily push her into making grave errors. “
Her own record as a “leader.” In her three-and-a-half years as vice president, she’s made it clear to anyone paying attention that she is a terrible, awful, no-good, very bad leader.
Here’s how The Hill put it two years ago:
More than 13 high-profile aides have left the vice president’s office, including her director of speechwriting, Meghan Groob, just last week.
The revolving door has made headlines during Harris’s tenure, creating a narrative of instability in the vice president’s office. But some Democrats worry about larger implications, particularly if President Biden chooses not to run for reelection.
Politico reported that “People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment. … It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—.”
A book published at the start of the year by a couple of liberal reporters provides what one reviewer called “a withering assessment” of Harris, quoting one of her own aides saying: “This person should not be president of the United States.”
The Trump campaign has already put together an ad that burdens Harris with what has been, titled “Kamala was in on it.”
Now that Harris is the presumptive nominee – Biden endorsed her, Democrats are already falling in line to back her, and she can access the $90 million in campaign cash Biden has raised – the press will most assuredly be unburdened by what has been.
Fresh off denying Biden’s mental decline for four years, the media will immediately shift gears to portray Harris as a smart, savvy, warm, affectionate, strong, determined leader who would be a history-making president.
God help the country if voters can’t see through this latest con job.

That's what I think, too. They'll let her have her moment as long as she promises to go away - and give her a multi-million dollar payoff for the memoirs of the First Black Female President in exchange.
It's not going to happen.

Trump should say she is going to say I'm too old but I played golf the day after being shot in the head. Then when she says he is too old he can say see, I told you.
On the threat to democracy, he can get ahead of that just by drawing attention to her coronation and how they stabbed Joe in the back. What party didn't have a primary.
Biden is not stepping down so any talk about that is a wasted attack on Kamala.
Michelle isn't showing up to save them. Another waste of time.
Everything starts over today. Find a great female surrogate, Niki Haley. Tulsi Gabbard. Have them attack her the most. Any male will be called sexist. Racist.
Humorous videos and memes abound. It's baked in the cake. I don't think you can get anymore mileage out of those.
Don't agree to debate. Wait it out. See if she improves or continues her word salad. She isn't the nominee yet. Until they have the official confirmation, no debate.
These Democrats may switch again at the convention.
Kelly. Arizona Senator is who they want for VP. Astronaut. Border state. More moderate. He voted with Biden on everything.
Biden is still President. Make Biden and Harris one.
She lied about his condition. She is lying now that she will be different. She will be even further left. California. Look at her home state. Same points you use against Gavin stick to her.
She is better on offense than defense. Keep her on the defensive.
Media will have her back so no sense crying about that. It is what it is.
Finally, get out the vote. If the people who said they were voting for Trump in .2020 had actually voted. Mail. In person Early. Trump would have won.
The problem with this is that this article is based on a premise that Heels Up HArris will provide a coherent answer to any of these things.
She wont...she will provide a wall of gobbly-gook and word salad...that will mean nothing...the press will take that answer...and then move on;no questions asked.
And in the Presidential debate...same thing.

The Democrats have settled on a campaign slogan for Harris: “Kamal Harris.....Putting Out for America.”

No need to nominate Whoopi if we already have something very similar & effective right now.
There is a reason she was polling BELOW Joe’s all time low numbers. This is going to catch up with her. She is a black/DEI/Woman .... that is “All” she is ... nothing there to vote for.
