How many SS and HSI agents does it take to **** up a protection detail?
Coverup in full flight
This reads like a CYA piece.
who was the agent in charge?
we need to hear from them
Well, we know there were a few on a rooftop, but not all rooftops, and not the right rooftop. Maybe if more of them had gotten out of their SUVs or not been sheltering inside buildings they might have preventing the shooting.
Mayorkas is in charge of DHS and ultimately the Secret Service. He did about as good a job with Trump security as he’s done with border security, which is to say he’s incompetent and sucks.
if they’re afraid to cover a (slightly) sloping roof that has an obvious straight unobstructed line of sight to the speaker.....**
it would not have mattered if they’d had 3000 agents on site
two local roofs are being replaced all day here by the usual illegal alien work gangs... who have ZERO fear of being up top at elevation 10 feet
All of them useless.
Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas who is in overdrive mode to destroy the Republic would have loved to see the MAGA Republicans in tears. He is in charge of securing the border and oversees the Secret Service. When are people going to catch on? We can’t get to November fast enough. Once the Democrats nominate Kamala and her running mate we are going to the next level for the destruction of the Republic. We are in for one ride in the next couple months!
Yes those fat militia guys could take out the FBI.
to add some tidbits Law and Crime youtube video: at mark 18:40ish, ABC news reported the shooter had obtained tickets to the rally about a week prior, and, at 23:40ish, father called local pd hours before the rally to report his son missing.
That’s even worse. That means the DEI incompetents were rank-and-file SS agents.
“ adding that HSI are highly trained federal law enforcement who routinely run complex investigations,”
Well they weren’t there to conduct investigations. And no amount of “highly trained” can’ can make up for incompetence.
No advance SS drone request to HQ? Were they counting on borrowing the shooter’s drone when he wasn’t using it?
A witness there is saying the cop never went to the roof. Also, the snipers were watching him shoot. They did nothing.
When I was a young lieutenant we got a new battalion sergeant major who made a lasting impression on me and my peers and taught the whole battalion a valuable lesson in the power of words. In army parlance at the time, and I would assume so even now, soldiers were generically referred to as "bodies," i.e., "First sergeant needs two bodies from each platoon for a grass cutting detail."
Our battalion sergeant major did everything in his power and influence to purge that usage, arguing that soldiers earned the right to be called soldiers, and leaders should be proud to lead soldiers, not mere bodies. He would say that if somebody wanted to work with bodies they should have gone to mortician school. Of course he was right, and powerfully so, and as he changed the language of the battalion, he changed attitudes.
So when I read the above passage in the article, I read it in that context. The SS shouldn't have been telling local police and HSI where they needed, "bodies," as that's what they got. They should have been telling them where they needed officers and security professionals.
The border? At our intentional cluster foxtrot where laws are ignored and national sovereignty is surrendered for the political benefit of the left? You might as well have bragged about guarding Hunter Biden's chastity and sobriety.
You could put the 82nd Airborne in Butler and simply not placing anybody on that roof nor overhead reconnaissance to stop a sniper changed everything.
What border? There is no border.
I accept full responsibility (to pose heroically for the photographer).
