Both the US and Russia are self-sufficient. There is no reason to be enemies. However it is in certain people’s interests to keep the two countries at odds. That’s the crux of it.

I agree that there is no reason to be enemies with Russia, but Russia has access to far more resources than we do. We do need access to foreign markets far more than Russia, however the GENIUSES who came up with the Ukraine War, the Neocons, have been so OBSESSED with Russia, that they are losing that access on a near-daily basis. For example, France was so busy following the Neocons off the cliff in Ukraine, that they failed to notice that they were about to lose Niger...and so now Niger has TOTAL CONTROL over the refueling of the French nuclear reactors...not a good position for France, at all.
