How would that have worked? Russia and China were both the result of communist revolutions and Russia was always allied with communist China. Have you ever wondered why China, North Korea, and North Vietnamese troops use AK-47 style rifles?
Why and when exactly would Russia have abandoned their communist allies in China?
I'm always impressed with the number of Freepers who are stuck in 1985 and didn't get the memo. Russia is not communist. It's not a great constitutional republic either, but calling it communist is just false.
As to calling China an ally of the Russia when it WAS communist - WOW you must be old. Because now you are reverting to the early 1960's, before they turned into enemies and almost went to war with each other. They remained enemies through the end of the USSR.
