the last 6-12 months i've believed i was going to abstain from voting in the upcoming election because the options are equally terrible
but watching Trump survive an assassination attempt and act like a total f***ing savage just shifted me into some strange, patriotic gear that my fancy-feminism-white-men-bad infected brain never showed me
like, the dude took a bullet and stood up with blood dripping down his face, and rallied a f***ing crowd while fist pumping, yelling "FIGHT!"
sorry, but i'm voting for that.

That’s it imho.
She saw a badass that would be capable of actually DOING something to lead and protect the country. Women like competence. The leadership shown made her feel safe.
Especially as her option is Biden - the difference could be more stark.

I think the more info that comes out about just how inept this whole thing was...and the horrible way Biden Admin is dealing with the aftermath..the more people will see the need for the fight and someone strong enough to do it. Not a pajama boy or a senile grandpa who can’t make it up the stairs.

The country knows we’re in increasingly tough and challenging times, and Trump’s reaction this week was very reassuring.
We put them through 17 years of brainwashing and then are surprised when it takes a bit for them to escape the trance?
I was never a Trump sycophant. But that right there changed things for me. That was his true nature coming through. He is a leader. A fighter. There are perhaps only a thousand people in the world that could have that sort of reaction after having been shot.
I’d say more than a thousand, but still impressive—especially for a president and presidential candidate.
