The President went down pretty hard on that stage, and some of the security people slammed him so hard his shoes flew off, so he may well be suffering some bruises and muscle strain. We oldsters take a while to recover sometimes.
A few years ago, I stepped into a pothole while walking across the dirt parking lot at a horse show... I had my head turned as I was talking to someone. I came down hard on all fours, ripped both knees on my jeans, had massive black bruises on both knees, scraped the skin off both palms, and spilled the water bottle I was carrying into my bag, which destroyed my cell phone. When I hit the ground, I was absolutely stunned. I’m in fairly decent shape, work out 6 days a week, eat (mostly) healthy, but the next day I could hardly move. Every bone in my body hurt. All from a simple trip & fall! I can’t imagine being gang-tackled so hard that you are knocked clean out of your shoes.
