I saw them at Lakeland, FL civic center in 1979. Open seating and I got there early, right front of stage, maybe two rows back.

Beautiful night. I was there, too and I remember when they played this song. Perfect time.

Love that BlueJays album 1975

In the 70s, I had a place way out in the country. And a stereo cranking out about 3.2 gigawatts. The Moodies sounded just fine.

Was that gigawatts in sound or light ?
To: George from New England
I dunno, but it shook the floors and rattled the walls.

I was “introduced” to The Moody Blues in early 1970’s. Fast became my all-time most favorite group, to this day.
Saw them at the Virginia Beach Pavilion with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra about 1991-1992, out under a beautiful June night sky. Was magical. Then at the Peace Center Greenville SC around 2010. Loved them then and always. One of my all time favorites: For My Lady...thank you Mr. Ray Thomas!
Glad to connect with a fellow fan.

We saw the Moody Blues many times at the Van Wezel in Sarasota. They performed there regularly at the start of tours because Graeme Edge lived in Bradenton for decades until his death in 2021. Graeme was a fixture—showed up at a local restaurant during my birthday party the year he retired.

Yes, Red Rocks is west of Denver, near Morrison, CO. I used to live close to there for 20 years, but moved back to FL due to crazy woman issues....
