I was starting college when that show debuted. I couldn’t believe how stupid it was. It was a major contributor to me transitioning from my tv watching “child” life to my non TV watching “adult” life.

I loved it! And now I’m watching Young Sheldon, which has many references to Alf, and remembering it all over again.

LOL, “Toast!” is my favorite memory from the movie (Project: ALF) said by Alf about an electrocuted scientist.

And then this followed that:

“[some time after Dr. Warner was electrocuted]
Dr. Newman: Hello, Alf, I’m Dr. Newman.
ALF: No need to ask who you’re replacing.
Dr. Newman: We’re going to try a little game called numeric sequencing.
ALF: Does it involve electric shock?
Dr. Newman: Absolutely not.
ALF: Forgive me if I’m still paranoid, there’s still a silhouette burned into the linoleum.”
