My wife makes Kefir bread. It is really good.
I’ll have to look up recipes. Kefir really stands in good for any recipe calling for milk as an ingredient. Much creamier and the mild tartness adds a lot.
LOL - 7,000 cals / day and sedentary lifestyle (manual laborers & athletes probably no worries).
Don’t forget shopping the center of the grocery where it’s full of sugar, salt and manmade additives makes us all a
science experiment.
You may want to also try homemade sauerkraut. It is very easy to make. Just shred the cabbage, add some salt, squeeze it down in an airtight container, burp it occasionally or have an automatic burper and wait a couple weeks to your liking.
It is packed with beneficial microbes.
I eat a spoonful every day right out of the jar.

Well, that kind of destroys everything...
I had a very healthy diet...and already not a lot of carbs...and probiotics, etc....sooo we will see
