I am good with no boomer taking any vaccine for a virus with a 50 to 80% mortality rate. It’s fake news remember so let’s go one step further make it illegal for anyone over 65 to take the vaccine for HxNx all of the strains. If you are older than 65 you don’t have the option of any vaccine. Fair enough right since it’s fake anyways what does it matter then.
They certainly have something planned using this non-emergency virus.
They way they are hyping this up is sending red flags up everywhere.
No one has got bird flu from cooking or eating cooked chicken. No one has got the virus from eggs. No one has got the virus from milk or dairy products. No one has got the virus from eating beef. The virus was isolated in 1959 but there were no known human cases until 1997.
Heat kills viruses. Scientists and the majority of non-scientists have known this forever. Most of us avoid eating raw animal products, so no surprise here.
The first cases in 1997 occurred in Hong Kong. Interestingly, a month before Hong Kong was handed over to China by the British.
Nice attempt to spin a conspiracy here. The fact that H5N1 was first identified in 1996 (not 1997), soon before Hong Kong was handed over to the PRC means nothing. Independent events frequently happen at the same time. This is why we have the saying, "Correlation does not mean causation."
So what is the bird flu and why are they repeatedly trying to start a “pandemic” with it? To answer these questions, on Friday, Dr. Meryl Nass gave a presentation on 27 years of bird flu narratives and vaccines.
Who is this "they"? And how do "they" start a pandemic?
Pandemics have afflicted humans since before we even had recorded history. They are completely natural events. Why does a small minority of people have such a hard time accepting that deadly events like pandemics just happen?
As far as the pandemic potential of H5N1 goes, it is something that the infectious disease research community has been monitoring for a long time. We know that the 1917-1919 pandemic (H1N1) virus circulated in animals for several years before it developed the capability of sustained human to human transmission. Right now, the H5N1 seems to be taking a similar path. But, the characteristics of H5N1 that make it so deadly also inhibit it from being spread easily from person to person. What will the effect be if it becomes capable of sustained human to human transmission?
We don't know.
And that is why right now, the scientific community is watching carefully. And that is why many governments around the world have been investing in development of bird flu vaccines. Because if H5N1 becomes adapted to humans and it retains even a fraction of its deadliness, we will need those vaccines.
