As far as the pandemic potential of H5N1 goes, it is something that the infectious disease research community has been monitoring for a long time. We know that the 1917-1919 pandemic (H1N1) virus circulated in animals for several years before it developed the capability of sustained human to human transmission. Right now, the H5N1 seems to be taking a similar path. But, the characteristics of H5N1 that make it so deadly also inhibit it from being spread easily from person to person. What will the effect be if it becomes capable of sustained human to human transmission?
We don't know.
And that is why right now, the scientific community is watching carefully. And that is why many governments around the world have been investing in development of bird flu vaccines. Because if H5N1 becomes adapted to humans and it retains even a fraction of its deadliness, we will need those vaccines.

ransomnote: Do you even read what you write? 'Scientists' are culling millions of chickens - none of which were intended to be eaten raw. In fact, our food supply is being culled for this reason. So you state the obvious, that heat kills viruses, while ignoring the more-than-obvious, that 'scientists' are still killing chickens for the virus. Say, did you see all the 'lessons learned' accountability information they shared, reviewing their performance throughout the Plandemic and inviting public comment? No? Neither did I. They are pretending they performed well and we should trust them. They lie. They are doubling down, pretending to be faultless no matter how many people suffer(ed) because of their direct actions, indirect actions and silence. They lost their credibility within weeks of Plandemic 1.0 and they can't propagandize their way back into being credible, even with your tireless 'help'.
