I am one of the few that saw it at the theater, and have watched it on TV. I love the Clint Eastwood/Lee Marvin version.

I don’t think ANYONE will redo a musical.

I’m still waiting for a remake of 1978’s “The Wiz” but with an all-white cast. Now THAT would be different!
