In the second article you have to use your imagination to visualize what a satellite looks like when it is “scrambling”

You’re not supposed to ride motorcycles under water either.

I felt that effect riding in Phoenix during the summer. My greatest fear was getting in an accident and being grilled on the hot asphalt.

My ZX11 would be a fantastic ride in the CA spring or fall.
Summer not so much.
Death Valley, no way.

2 key words in story ,Death Valley
To: Red Badger
I knew a man who traveled through Death Valley in the 1920s when there was only a dirt road going through it and there were graves on the side of the road.

weather you’d better make use of them.

"Death Valley" should have been the first clue not to go.
Then add in forecasted record high temps, in the hottest place on earth.
Why would anyone want to do this?
Maybe at night, but during the day under these conditions? Insane.

120F at Las Vegas set a new all-time record (all time being relative of course). I saw 129F for DV on yesterday’s roundup. As you may know, 134F in July 1913 was the record for DV, that has been questioned for exposure and 131F in recent years is now listed as “official” max for Death Valley.

I read a story where a mountain bike rider got dehydrated and heat stroke due to only having water to drink. He still had a bunch of water but his electrolytes were way too low. Luckily he was with a buddy that rode out and got help.

Test drivers?.
Iowa lawmakers passed a new legislation that means children can get a driver’s license at the age of 14 and a half.

I was going to ride my 93FXR to work today, but it’s over 90. My car has A/C.

So they didn’t use a drone.

Above a certain temp the wind makes it feel hotter.
The biker essentially air fried himself
