My zoomie buddy recommended I change from USAA as he got better rates elsewhere. Used to be when insurance companies cornered me and asked who I used, when I said USAA, they replied “Oh” with disappointment and moved on.

I just drop USAA as my car insurance provider. I might move my home owners insurance too. Car Insurance along I am saving 1500 a year.
I have been a USAA customer for nearly 40 years. Never thought to compare with other insurance companies as I just assumed I was getting superior rates. But maybe I will start doing that.
I have not had any trouble with the USAA bank, but I don’t keep a lot of money there. Also their claims dept has been top notch. But the last claim I filed was many years ago.
One thing that does tick me off is their commercials since 2020 or so. Yet another company who thinks its acceptable to make White men look like idiots.
I had the same experience at Costco, they knew USAA was better, at that time.
Every institution in the US is under attack, they are being Bud Lighted.
