Probably. Those vehicles were Florida Highway Patrol colors and they probably have mostly drug dogs.
My brother has a neighbor who is a sheriff's deputy that used to be a canine officer. His son became a sheriff's deputy and recently got qualified as a canine officer with a Belgian Malanois dog. My brother's neighbor was sure to tell me when his son's dog got it's first "bite".
