World Athletics’ policy doesn’t specifically mention nonbinary athletes, but those who were assigned female at birth are generally allowed to compete in female categories if they haven’t received hormone therapy.
According to these rules Hillitz was either born male XY but transitioned before puberty or was born female XX but has not received testosterone.

Women want to compete head to head when they have an advantage, but they want their own separate sport when biology gives them a disadvantage. I say screw womens’ sports. If they want to go to the Olympics they can take up archery or horsemanship. Or, the IOC could add some events for sewing or diaper changing.
As for the perverts who think a few hormone treatments or getting a penis cut off will make a man into a woman, they would never be seen again with a unisex event Olympics.

This individual is a biological female. I would think this individual would have to abide by the same performance enhancing drug restrictions as the other competitors. I saw this individual up close a few years ago at the Fifth Avenue mile in New York.
