This is Hanlon's Razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Or, as our British cousins describe it, cock-up before conspiracy.
1. We have the report from the man outside the venue who was trying to alert police and SS to the shooter's presence.
2. Suppose the shooter's presence had just been brought to the counter-sniper's attention. That would account for them looking in that direction and responding so quickly.
Our form of government rests on four boxes: soap, ballot, jury, and cartridge. They should be used in that order for many good reasons.
While not exactly a tinder pile, this country is divided. Setting it alight would benefit the Democrats and the left and would harm far too many innocents.
Do not improperly use the soap box and push others to reach for the cartridge box too soon.
I can wait until November to take out the trash in the second box.

I agree with the premise that we might want to hold back attributing to deliberate actions, those which are accidental/incompetence-based in nature.
Case in point - the northeast blackout of 2003. It started in the company that I had previously worked for, and when I saw what happened, I knew pretty much how it happened and why. Details came later, but the company, after a merger, started cutting costs and taking chances. As well, they had a very top-down management style whereby people “in the know” were not allowed to make decisions, to even think. And, they had a very poor-performing energy management computer system, which really provides the visibility that system operators needed to make operating decisions. In other words, they were traveling partially blinded.
There’s a lot more to the story, but its all spelled out in the final report, and knowing the people involved, I’d say that report is very accurate.
On to the 4 boxes.
The soap box is tainted because the left/deep state controls most of the media
The ballot box - well, we saw them steal the election in 2020, and little has been done to prevent a repeat performance in 2024
The jury box - Trump’s show trials are showing that there is considerable weakness in that system as well. Was Trump’s NY trial a fair trial?
The Cartridge box - they’re trying desperately to take that one away from the people, and this attempted assassination by a deranged leftist serves their narrative as well.
I’m holding on, but I’m losing faith at times.
Then again, divine intervention seems to have prevented Trump from being murdered - so there is hope.

CNN is reporting (so take that as you wish) that LEOs questioned the shooter earlier because he was acting “strangely” but then just let him go his way. Apparently, no one was charged with keeping an eye on him.

BREAKING: A local police officer found the Trump gunman but retreated down the ladder after the suspect pointed the rifle at him.
According to the Associated Press, the suspect was discovered by an officer who retreated, allowing the suspect to fire at Trump.
“Rallygoers noticed a man climbing to the roof of a nearby building and warned local police, according to two law enforcement officials,” the AP reported.
“One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump.”

I prefer to examine all possibilities now, before dozens of intel organizations have a chance to control or discredit eye witnesses and spin layer after layer of cover stories that suit their agendas.
Biden has already announced there will be a thorough investigation (cough, cough...coverup...cough).
The other thing is secret service snipers can’t just shoot whoever they want. He was waiting for orders.
