"childhood vaccines save lives." As usual, you are either blind and ill-informed or lying.I'm very glad you asked, as I have researched this before. Your willful ignorance and/or dishonesty is a perfect illustration of why millions of people no longer trust the medical/pharmaceutical industrial complex. There are a few more charts at the link.

These are the facts:

Deaths From Childhood Diseases Were Declining Before Vaccines

In 1977, Boston University epidemiologists (and husband and wife) John and Sonja McKinlay published their seminal work in the Millbank Memorial Fund Quarterly on the role that vaccines (and other medical interventions) played in the massive 74% decline in mortality seen in the twentieth century: “The Questionable Contribution of Medical Measures to the Decline of Mortality in the United States in the Twentieth Century.”

In this article, the McKinlays pointed out that 92.3% of the mortality rate decline happened between 1900 and 1950, before most vaccines existed. They conclude that vaccines (and all other medical interventions, including antibiotics and surgeries) were responsible for — at most — somewhere between 1% and 3.5% of that decline.

Additionally, after an exhaustive 2010 study, “Annual Summary of Vital Statistics: Trends in the Health of Americans during the 20th Century” (Guyer et al, December 2000.) published in Pediatrics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Johns Hopkins researchers concluded: “Thus vaccinations does not account for the impressive declines in mortality from infectious diseases seen in the first half of the twentieth century.”

I raised my two children (born 1972 and 1974) without any vaxes, other than the first one had the first vax when a few months old, “doctor said to”. I didn’t question. But my very healthy baby became sickly after the vax. So no more vaxes for her, and none for the second child.

I grew up before vaxes other than polio. I got measles, chicken pox and I think whooping cough. Survived just fine.

The author of “How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor”, Dr. Robert Mendelsohn, is an excellent book and I highly recommend for any parents, grandparenst, or those wanting to have children. I didn’t have it when my children were small, but I pretty much followed his precepts already. He was not only a pediatrician, but taught at a university. He recommended no childhood vaccines other than tetanus but even then only if the child would be likely to exposed to it. (barefoot, farms, rusty metal....)

I have heard that the tetanus vax is unnecessary and tied to fertility issues. Anyone else hear this? I know I started having problems after a tetanus shot in 1994, but it’s so easy to say it was issues other than that vax. They’ve been so clever with all of that.

PDJT has ALL the background info of Zero’s fake life. Incredible research by FReepers and others found it all. When he was born, where, parents, nationality, etc. He’s not even a US citizen at all. Unless he was naturalized at some point, I don’t know everything. WHen the info was given, the reply was that it was “actionable”. PDJT didn’t do anything his first time for obvious reasons. “Military is the only way”, especially for foreign enemy combatants!

The time to get a tetanus vax is after stepping on a rusty nail with sneakers at a farm. DH got one after that. He was fine. I researched tetanus and it is NOT a easy death, and there is no cure. Not everyone dies from it but most do, iirc. Tetanus vax ONLY if warranted.
