12 Footer in North Carolina!...............
Sometimes I want to know who walked alongside of the alligator to measure whether he was 10 feet, 11 feet, or 12 feet, because they didn’t capture this one. They just let him mosey along.
“Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Rescue was called in to help...”
No gator trappers up there I guess
The animals have had it and are fighting back.
Right. That was my first reaction too.

Which means there’s a chance it’s still in that area and still a nuisance.

Not sure he would have wrestled this one like that one, though.
I would say that alligator is 8-9 ft and 250 pounds. I have one that cruises the lake I live on that I think could be 12 ft and it looks to weigh double the weight of this one. This is a big alligator, no doubt, just not 12 ft.

Min road lane width is 12 feet and he spanned a lane.
My neighbor in Jax liked to show off her scar. Upper thigh to below the knee. Earned it swimming in a river as a teen a decade earlier. I used to canoe in waters around Jax. Very very carefully. Would not do so now.
