I know this is not the site for the question, but I'm hoping someone who can, will reach out and get some democrat replies besides . . .

Another aspect of the "deadly assault" on the Capitol lie is that the only people who died that day were three or four Trump supporters: one unarmed woman shot almost point-blank by police; one unarmed woman bludgeoned by police and trampled when panic broke out when teargas was launched into a confined area; and one or two who died of medical emergencies.

The "deadly assault" line is DELIBERATELY used to suggest that it was Trump supporters who killed a number of people on that day.

Well it sounds like nobody in 1954 was killed. On Jan. 6th two of the “insurrectionists” were dead at the end of the day.

The Democrat governor of Virginia did sign a law to allow the killing of babies after birth.

I know President Trump tells some silly stories which are not true, but surely nobody is dumb enough to pay attention to them.

As was observed a while back - we conservatives take Trump seriously, but not literally.

The Left takes him literally, but not seriously.

They think he is a joke as a political figure, but deem every hyperbolic utterance by him to be some sort of "lie".

Not weird at all! It is in reference to this statement by a former Dem Virginia governor:

I can’t find a link I think it was some POlitico hack who made a list and they were quite stupid...

“Trump says Biden wants open borders”
“False: Biden has never officially called for open borders”

They were all that vapid. My favorite “fact check” from these same idiots was when Trump hosted that college football team at the oval office and bought everyone fast. Trump said, “These guys like to eat and there are burgers piles a mile high for them” (paraphrasing)

An idiot actually fact checked it with “False: According to white house pictures there were only four layers of stacked burgers totaling roughly one foot high, far from one mile.”

It wasn’t an official document. It was one of some 500 copies.

Okay - how about “Destruction of Government Property”. Or at the very least “demonstrating in the Capitol”.

Numerous people from Jan. 6th plead guilty to that charge:

“Marilyn Fassell, of Largo, Florida, was sentenced to 30 days incarceration, three years of supervised release and ordered to pay a combined $510 after pleading guilty to demonstrating in the Capitol.”

ABORTION AFTER BIRTH was supported by the EX Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam who is a doctor when he said...."well, after the baby is born, we can set it aside, make it comfortable, while we decide what to do"!!!

He;s espousing MURDERING THE BABY AFTER IT"S BORN!!!

How do Dems justify letting the “unwanted” baby die? It’s out of the mother’s body at that point. It’s no longer “inconveniencing” her. Why not let it live and try to find someone to adopt it?

That was clearly their pre-determined, talking-point spin, but he really didn’t go that way.

not a lie

SSI is avail to those whose removal has been postponed, and California rolls out the red carpet of state benefits:

“Deportation is being withheld under Section 243(h) of the INA, as in effect before April 1, 1997; or removal is being withheld under Section 241(b)(3) of the INA...”
https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/spotlights/spot-non-citizens.htm

regarding California specifically:
“... California has opened up government programs to undocumented residents more than any other state — issuing driver’s licenses, college scholarships, low-income tax credits, direct cash aid during the pandemic and now Medi-Cal health coverage. In 2025 California will be the first state to issue food stamps to undocumented immigrants, allowing those 55 and older to qualify....Medi-Cal began covering undocumented children in 2018 and adults up to age 26 in 2020. Last May, older undocumented immigrants like Huerta became eligible. She is one of nearly 350,000 who have signed up for full, state-funded coverage. ...Next January coverage will open to low-income immigrants of all ages; an estimated 700,000 will be eligible. The full-fledged expansion will cost $2.6 billion a year....A bill introduced this year would give undocumented residents access to the Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants, a state-funded benefit created for elderly and disabled residents who don’t qualify for Social Security because federal law bars most noncitizens....”
https://calmatters.org/california-divide/2023/07/undocumented-immigrants-california/#:~:text=In%20a%20major%20reversal%20since%20the%201990s%2C%20California,during%20the%20pandemic%20and%20now%20Medi-Cal%20health%20coverage.

“Can undocumented workers apply for State Disability Insurance (SDI)?
Yes, as long as you are paying into the California State Disability Insurance fund you can apply. Citizenship and immigration status do not affect eligibility. The Employment Development Department will NOT ask for proof of citizenship. “
https://www.workfamilyca.org/blog/california-state-disability-insurance-101-what-it-is-who-can-use-it-how-to-apply

I’m not versed on what federal benefits are allowed for minors, but ancedotally, it seems a common complaint of Calif minors is to claim mental disabiliies such as ‘anxiety’ or ‘ptsd’ to obtain some sort of extra benefits. Someone else may be able to add to/contradict that assumption.
