At today's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) played video of the ATF agents planning a raid on Bryan Malinowski.

I’m one of the ones that thinks most of the agenices should be shut down.
That being said, four things change the whole dynamic when it comes to these types of raids.
1. Body cams on every agent at the scenes. The entry team, perimeter team, support personnel and anyone and everyone associated with the operation, to include any AUSA/DOJ representative
2. It shall be unlawful for any personnel to disable security cameras, shut off security systems, ask to shut off CCTV, video doorbells, etc, etc, etc
3. All video will be downloaded and reviewed by Congressional committee to verify if they’re playing by the rules.
4. If they don’t cooperate with investigation, preservation of video, or obstruct, automatic suspension without pay. Take away guns, badges, id’s, any electronics, any and all government issued clothiers with agency insignia. Cut off government credit card.
Fire the agents, their bosses, their bosses’ bosses, and strip all their pensions.
That’s the bare minimum they deserve.
On item 4, take away all pension benefits.
Write letters for 5 years.
We know how this goes.

Use stronger wording in the letters.
Good point, both of you.
Some local departments have policies that prohibit an employee from ‘retiring early’ if they’re going to go through an investigation. I think it’s relegated to felonies, but not sure.
The Fed’s have lots of task forces staffed with local cops. One of the reasons, locals operate much differently. A local cop can write a search warrant on the trunk of a car, see a judge, get it signed and then go knock the door. Fed’s have to come up with an operational plan that has to get approved by senior people.
If I remember correctly, they had to send their paperwork to DC for approval.
It could take days.
And since so many senior people are involved. theren awful lot of people that can’t play dumb and could all be accountable. All it would take is one senior person who is responsible for evidence preservation, everyone below them, suspended. Everyone above them suspended for lack of oversight.
Cops could get something like that done in less than an hour. To streamline it even more, cops could have a team ready to make entry, while someone else deals with the warrant.
Maybe try all caps. That seems to get some people going.
And if any of those rules are broken all evidence gathered will be inadmissible in court.
I never understood why senators and reps, especially Republicans, are so polite to some of the disgusting scumbags that come in for questioning.
Calling them “gentlemen” and thanking them for coming in.
Screw that.
Understood and totally agree
But, therein lies one of the fundamental problems that could be fixed easily.
And, to go a step further, an “honest senator or Rep” would have no problem recording any meeting with anyone when conducting the business of government. Easy fix there, if they bring up an issue or proposal and there’s nothing to support it, it goes to the round filing cabinet next to the desk.
Howabout 5. Arrest, convict and execute the SOBs who killed the man. Holding them responsible will "change the dynamic", I betcha.
Yup……The Left and defense attorneys screamed about cops wearing bodycams. Now some hate them.
If the cops acted right and their client didn’t, there aren’t a whole lot of trials. Lot of plea bargains because videos don’t lie.
No reason the Fed’s can’t play by the same reasons as the cops.
10000%
That’s what comes out in the video evidence.
IE….”I thought he was reaching for a gun”.
Video shows victim didn’t reach for anything and there were no guns in the room he was in.
I wonder if that LEO who arrested Scottie Scheffler, world number one professional golfer, as he was near the entrance to a tournament was fired. That LEO had a long string of infractions on his record.
Scheffler was taken away with in handcuffs, jailed, booked and had his mug shot in an orange jumpsuit “inadvertently” released. Scheffler is one of the most honorable people anywhere. The LEO “accidentally” left off his body camera.
this was a complete setup for baiting an innocent homeowner into defending his life, family and property. he likely never knew what he was facing or why. his actions were predictable and admirable under the circumstances. he was essentially executed despite having done nothing wrong.
this is nothing more than j6 written small.
This was an execution.
Thanks for taking the time to post the video.
Forbes covers most of the screen with ads just as the video gets to the agents reaching the house.
