I saw her in a club in Houston. I saw Pat Travers, Motorhead, Faster Pussycat, and some other good bands when I lived down there.
My father was with the Sixth Marine Division for about 6 weeks in 1945 (until he was wounded). I’m pretty sure the Marines did not get to see any concerts during that time.

Sure, some replies around here are by someone flaunting their 8th home (Yknow, the one in Fiji?) or asking for advice on how they are ever going to be able to retire on ONLY $5,o0o,0o0, but really nearly all posts around here boil down to that same single thing.
Its just a matter of scale and who really deserved it.
Not really relevant though. I remember people using it as just as a phrase, we knew better. We still used “a nickel” for a payphone call even though it was already a quarter.
I always liked her cover of “Crimson and Clover”. “I wanna do everything”. I know she doesn’t lean my way, but damn.
