I remember that shirt “id rather be listing to smooth ….” I have no idea why it was so funny. Just dumb humor I guess, can’t really explain it. Smooth is a good song anyways
Very popular song, and I quite like it. But the dynamic range on that song is one of the lowest I’ve ever heard, at least on CD. There is supposedly a vinyl version of that song that is a lot better in that regard, although still not stellar. I’ve yet to hear the vinyl version.
This song and Game of Love with Michelle Branch might be Santana’s two best hits.
I dunno. The background beat sounds like he’s humpin’ her.

Carlos Santana has had an interesting life and is a pretty good musician but I don’t care for his little flourishes between the lyrics. It’s pretty much all he has to offer, punctuational flourishes.
