IMO, SPAM has endless potentials. I even think SPAM is used in the Sushi business.
Austin, TX had (may still have) a festival for SPAM called SPAM-O-RAMA. Folks create a variety of dishes featuring SPAM and compete to be the best. Folks have a lot of fun but take making great dishes seriously.
In Hawaii it’s a go to food.

Spam...brings back memories of Scout’s and camping trips. Beef stew in the can as well. Oh and corn beef hash in the can.

Spam musubi is a popular snack for kids in our local area (South Bay Los Angeles). Kind of like an oversized sushi roll with fried spam and teriyaki sauce inside.
